Within our lives we typically have high and lows even within our profession, or our life. We typically start off very strong when we get fresh blessings, new job, or new accomplishments. It’s easy for us to water the new blessings. We are high off excitement we have a new found joy being in a new place, new accomplishments.
Within our life there will be times where it’s a dead period. No highs, no accomplishments or any wins. Will we still love the thing that we are set out to do with the same vigor. Will we still keep watering our garden to not allow the roots to die. A lot of times people allow the roots of their dreams to go dry and die out.
We must focus ourselves on our daily task even if it seems mundane. Day in and day out we must continue to water the garden. One are of ourselves or our career may need more water then the next area but it’s imperative that we know which area we need to focus on.
Too many times individuals allow their dream to die out because they simply don’t water enough. They simply lose hope because they don’t see the fruits of their labor growing quite yet. Like many things growing under ground (carrots, cucumbers etc) it’s a process of timing. Like us, there’s a growth process that must happen before it’s the right time before we see the efforts of our watering. In due time will we reap the harvest of what we have sewn.
We must be steadfast and continue to do what we are called to do. Eventually, when you water something long enough there is growth.
